Before you can begin the registration process, ensure that you meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Educational Qualifications: You must have a recognized nursing degree or diploma from an accredited institution.
  • Work Experience: Typically, you need to have at least two years of nursing experience, although this can vary depending on your specialty.
  • Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English or Arabic is required. If your education was not in English, you might need to provide proof of language proficiency through exams like IELTS or TOEFL.

2. Gather Required Documents

You will need to prepare the following documents for submission:

  • Passport Copy: A valid passport with at least six months of validity.
  • Nursing Degree/Diploma: Certified copies of your nursing qualification.
  • Transcripts: Official transcripts from your nursing school.
  • Work Experience Certificate: Proof of your nursing experience.
  • Good Standing Certificate: Issued by the nursing regulatory body in your home country, stating that you are in good standing and have no pending disciplinary actions.
  • Health Clearance: Medical fitness certificate, including tests for communicable diseases.
  • Passport-sized Photographs: Recent photographs meeting the size requirements.
  • Professional License: Valid nursing license from your home country.

3. Create an Account on the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) Portal

  • Visit the SCFHS Mumaris Plus portal and create an account.
  • Complete your profile with the required personal and professional details.

4. Apply for Professional Classification

  • Log in to your Mumaris Plus account and apply for professional classification.
  • Upload all required documents, including your degree, transcripts, and work experience certificates.
  • Pay the classification fee online.

5. Verification of Documents

  • SCFHS will verify your submitted documents through the DataFlow Group, an international credential verification service.
  • You need to apply for the Primary Source Verification (PSV) through DataFlow and submit required documents for verification.
  • Pay the applicable fees for the verification process.

6. Pass the Saudi Licensing Examination (SNLE)

  • Once your documents are verified, you will be eligible to sit for the Saudi Nursing Licensing Examination (SNLE).
  • Prepare for the exam using the provided study materials and guidelines.
  • Register and pay the exam fee through the Mumaris Plus portal.
  • Take and pass the SNLE.

7. Apply for Professional Registration

  • After passing the SNLE, apply for professional registration through the Mumaris Plus portal.
  • Submit any additional documents required, such as proof of exam results.

8. Pay the Registration Fees

  • Pay the applicable fees for professional registration.
  • Once the payment is processed, your application will be reviewed by SCFHS.

9. Obtain Your Professional License

  • If your application is approved, you will receive your Saudi nursing license.
  • Your license will allow you to practice nursing in Saudi Arabia.

10. Secure a Job and Work Visa

  • With your nursing license in hand, you can now apply for nursing positions in Saudi Arabia.
  • Once you receive a job offer, your employer will assist you with the work visa application and other immigration formalities.

11. Complete the Arrival Formalities

  • Upon arrival in Saudi Arabia, you may need to undergo additional medical examinations and submit your documents to the local health authorities.
  • Your employer will guide you through the final steps to begin your nursing career in Saudi Arabia.
